Unhitched: An Unconventional Divorce Group

Hey divorcees! We’re a group of women and men who are going through or have been through divorce (or the breakup of a major relationship). But this ain’t your average support group! In short, we are creating a safe space for you to come cry a little, laugh a lot, learn a bit and create connections with likeminded adults.

WHAT: This group will offer a monthly check-in on how you’re doing around your divorce. I formed this group because I wanted a place where both men and women could come together around their divorces.

We plan to have some fun – but this is no pick-up scene. We’re spiritual more than religious – but all faiths are welcome. We’ll have plenty of opportunities for sharing, commiserating and processing the tough stuff – but our focus will be on uplifting each other and creating a new life you love.

I know how tough this stage of life can be, and I want you to know that you are not alone. I also know it can sometimes be difficult to see a light at the end of the tunnel – you know it’s coming, but you’re just not sure when. My goal is to support you in the darkness of the tunnel and into the light beyond.

Our meetings will involve some combination of group discussion, learning and resources, light coaching (no pressure, though – that’s only if the group is up for it!), maybe some shared reading, and probably a few social events thrown in here and there.

We meet in community-based spaces. We’re also meeting on different days of the week to accommodate more people and find our sweet spot.

Divorce is not for the faint of heart, but it is for the strong of spirit. If your spirit feels called, join us and use your divorce as the amazing catalyst it can be for healing, for hope and the mother of all awakenings!
