The Overview
In April of 2016, at the last Gathering of Wayfinders in Austin, Texas, we held the inaugural Sacred Supper Club event. Our intent was to bring together some amazing souls to break bread, connect, and have some fun. But instead of your typical dinner party superficial small talk, we wanted meaningful big talk. Soul level talk.
Sacred Supper Club has continued to evolve since that inaugural event, and now it’s time for the next iteration of Sacred Supper Club into…the Soul Digger Supper Club!
On Wednesday, November 4, we invite you to kick off your Gathering experience with an intimate evening at The Croissant Room, the charming private dining space at Elizabeth Street Café (just a short 1.5 miles from the JW Marriott).
The Call
The world is getting pretty unpredictable and chaotic. It may even seem a bit dark. But you, my friend, are a light.
You are a light in your family, your work, your community, and beyond. It’s not always easy to carry the light, though. Sometimes it helps to come together with other lights so that in the togetherness, we burn brighter. In the togetherness, we are energized and recharged so that we can take our light back into the world in a bigger way.
If you feel the call to burn brightly in the world, and if you want to strengthen your connection to other lights and to your own soul, then come get shamelessly spiritual with us as we mine the true gold that comes from the soul!
The Dinner
An evening filled with delicious food and great wine (if that’s your thing!) designed to foster deep connection and encouragement on your soul journey. Expect meaningful conversation, friends new and old, inspiration, and all around Wayfinder merriment!
There will be laughter. There will be soul growth. There will be sacred revelry. And there will be coconuts (don’t worry, we’ll tell you what to do with them!). Join us, because in the togetherness, we burn brighter!
The Locale
The Croissant Room is the charming private dining space of Elizabeth Street Café. Named after its original use as the restaurant’s bakery production headquarters, the private dining room is equipped with a full bar and its own cozy courtyard patio.
Called a “dapper cottage of deliciousness” and “one of the most precious restaurants in town,” Elizabeth Street Café is an Austin favorite known for: great croissants & Stumptown coffee, bánh mì served on fresh baked baguettes, crisp spring rolls, steaming bowls of pho, tasty noodles, house cocktails & fruity boozy punches, and fresh pastries. Having lived in Austin for 10 years during the time it opened, Elizabeth Street Café was one of Sunny’s favorites!
The Croissant Room is located in the South 1st Street area, a small artery of unique shops and delicious eateries. Just 1.5 miles from the JW Marriott, you can easily access it via cab or ride service. Or if you’d like a quintessential Austin experience, take a pedicab, or stroll across the Congress Avenue Bridge onto South Congress Avenue to experience a few blocks that define Austin character and history. To access Elizabeth Street Café, just take a right onto Elizabeth Street from South Congress.
